“Death begins in the colon.” Ilya Mechnikov, famous bacteriologist and Nobel Laureate
Your intestinal tract is home to around 100 trillion microorganisms, and not all of them are friendly. They enter your body with the food you eat, the water you drink, and the air you breathe.
Friendly bacteria keep the bowel clean and hold the unfriendly bacteria in check. This helps to create a balance that minimizes putrefaction and fermentation, the producers of excess gas and bad odors.
Nearly all cooked foods, especially overcooked foods, are inadequate for feeding friendly intestinal bacteria, whereas raw foods encourage the establishment and maintenance of balanced intestinal flora.
Friendly bacteria enhance digestion and nutrient absorption, improve bowel regularity and support natural immunity.
Beneficial bacteria help to produce B vitamins (folic acid, niacin, riboflavin, B12, B 6, and pantothenic acid); aid in predigestion of proteins and formation of free amino acids; help predigest lactose; and have anticholesteremic and antilipidemic effects.
Of all the things that alter the flora in the colon, medications are the most powerful. Broad spectrum antibiotics are the worst of these offenders. The killing off of friendly bacteria by them can cause inflammation of the intestinal wall and overgrowth of yeast organisms.
Many medications such as hormones, birth-control pills, painkillers, antacids, etc. also destroy friendly bacteria.
“When the floral balance in the intestinal tract is upset, it is very difficult for the person to return to optimal health”. Bernard Jensen, D.C.
Luc De Schepper, MD, PhD states: “We are currently witnessing a virtual epidemic of Candidiasis. Only a few years ago, yeast diseases were called the disease of the future. The doctors reviewing the recent literature will conclude that the future is now here!” When yeast overgrows, immune system mechanisms are depleted or the normal lining of the intestinal tract is damaged, the body can absorb yeast cells, and various toxins. As a result, bodily processes may be significantly disrupted, resulting in the development of the yeast syndrome.
This syndrome is characterized by “feeling sick all over”. Fatigue, allergies, immune system malfunction, depression, chemical sensitivities, and digestive disturbances (constipation, diarrhea, bloating, abdominal pain) are just some of the symptoms.
If you are suffering from mood swings, deep depression, mental fatigue, urinary or vaginal infection, arthritis, IBS or spastic colon, PMS or craving for sweets you have typical symptoms of Candidiasis.
We, at the Biotherapy Clinic, will recommend a natural anti-Candida program, which includes:
- Colon hydrotherapy to remove toxins and waste materials from colon to promote healthy intestinal environment.
- The Candida Control Diet
- Natural supplements that support detoxification by promoting elimination, improve your digestion, provide nutritional support
- Natural anti-yeast agents
- Restoration of friendly intestinal flora of the body
- Implantation of friendly flora in the colon and vagina
- Acupuncture to relieve stress, depression, allergy, pain and abdominal spasms, suppress sweet cravings and appetite.
